Cancellation terms – s/s Heinävesi canal cruises
- We charge a 40% cancellation fee if the reservation is canceled less than 23 hours before the event
- We charge a 15% cancellation fee if the reservation is canceled less than 1 day before the event
- We charge a 0% cancellation fee if the reservation is canceled less than 2 days before the event
The shipping company's right to changes and cancellations:
The shipping company reserves the right to cancel or change the cruise schedule or route due to waterway safety, weather conditions or other safety reasons. In such cases, the customer is entitled to a refund or an alternative cruise, if available.
Route changes and cancellation conditions
The shipping company reserves the right to change the cruise route from the Heinävesi canal route to the Varkaus–Leppävirta route due to the exceptionally low water level of Lake Saimaa, if safe navigation on the Heinävesi route is not possible.
If the route is changed, the customer has the right to cancel their reservation free of charge. The shipping company will inform customers of any changes without delay in the event of changes in water conditions.
Indirect costs:
The shipping company is not responsible for any indirect costs that the customer may incur due to cancellation, such as charges from accommodation, travel or other service providers.
